근처에 볼일이 있어 Nike 매장도 들를 겸 시타델 아울렛 (Citadel Outlets)에 방문했다.

Presidents Day (프레지던트 데이) 기념 세일도 많은 연휴기간이었는데 많이들 놀러 갔는지 아니면 비+폭풍 주의보 때문인지 생각보다 덜 붐비는 모습이었다. Nike 나 Kate Spade 등 인기 매장들은 여전히 입장을 기다리는 줄이 있었다.
지난주에 있었던 설날 (Lunar New Year)을 기념해 중국식으로 장식이 되어있었다.
특히 재미있었던 건 COACH 매장 앞에 각 띠별 성격의 특징과 쇼핑하기 추천하는 가게 리스트가 적혀있는 안내판들이 세워져 있었다. 천재적인 마케팅 방식에 감탄이 나왔다.
안내판마다 각 띠(Zodiac) 별 현재 살아있을(?) 이들의 출생연도들이 적혀 있었다.
해가 갈수록 내가 태어난 연도가 점점 중간을 향해 움직이는 모습에 마음이 먹먹해진다.

몇 군데 매장들을 둘러보고 날도 어두워지기 시작해 집에 가려는데 캘빈클라인(Calvin Klein) 매장에 BTS의 정국과 BLACKPINK의 제니의 모습이 보인다.
확실히 매장에 걸려있는 모습들을 마주해 보니 기사에서 본 것보다 훨씬 더 멋지더라.
